Our NEW Black Sheep Winter Food & Cocktail Menus have launched and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Let’s start with the new food dishes, shall we? Cooler weather brings an evolution of cosy, comforting flavours, so expect fun and indulgent new flavours to share with others (or keep all to yourself!)
But rest assured. We still have your favourite 12hr Slow Cooked Pork Hock on repeat!
As always, our menu is flexible and provides plenty of options for dietaries, particularly our gluten free friends. So let’s explore some of our new classics waiting for you to tuck right in…
Perhaps next time you pop in to visit, start with something light and delicious like our Gruyere & Potato Croquettes with smoky romesco sauce. The Thick Cut Polenta Chips finished with truffle oil & Grana Padano are another ideal choice to share with friends…but we promise you won’t want to stop at one!
If you’re in the mood for a cosy cool weather classic, our Slow Braised Beef Cheek with red wine jus, Paris mash & baby Dutch carrots is sure to hit the spot. But if we had to choose our favourite dish, it may be the Grilled Pork Medallions, creamy mushroom sauce, green beans and spaetzle – an Austrian specialty similar to mac & cheese.
For a cosy seasonal indulgence, the fresh Potato & Ricotta Gnocchi pan fried with wild mushrooms, white wine & creamsauce is a must-try. And for those who are after something a little lighter, order the Charred Pumpkin with Dutch carrots, broccolini, baby beets & fresh pesto sauce. Delicious and packed with nourishing local ingredients, it’s also vegan and gluten free, so makes for an excellent side to share.
Make sure to leave room for dessert!
Finish with a silky Strawberry Panna Cotta, warm Apple & Rhubarb Crumble with vanilla ice cream, or perhaps a sweet Orange Semolina Cake with gin syrup & pistachio praline is calling your name…

With an emphasis on warming winter flavours – expect jammy citrus, a hit of spice, orchard fruits & a balance of light and dark spirits to suit your style.
Allow us to introduce a couple of our favourites…
Our ‘Yuzu Gimlet’ packs a citrus punch, with Roku Japanese Craft Gin, zesty Yuzu liqueur, fresh lime & sugar, finished with a sherbert rim. And for Margarita fans, the ‘Coconut Raspberry Margarita’ is a sweet delight of Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, Raspberries & Coconut that is sure to please.
Gin is our thing and we have a lot of love for our locals. Our line up of ‘Chamber of Gin’ Signature Cocktails brings an incredible selection from each of our five local distillery partners, to shake and stir at Black Sheep this Winter. Delivering a sensory tour of the Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast & Melbourne its all here to try right in the heart of the city.
