We’re lining up fresh new cocktails for our gin lovers, showcasing the versatile flavours and styles of our favourite spirit. Just like the ‘Sly Fox’ – a soft floral and citrus cocktail featuring local Bellarine Distillery ‘Teddy & The Fox’ Gin, lemon and a delicate aniseed foam. Or for a funky twist on a classic gin sour, try the ruby-hued ‘Bloody Sour’ showcasing the award-winning Four Pillars ‘Bloody Shiraz’ Gin.
And for something a little different & mysterious? Allow us to introduce the ‘Smoke & Mirrors’, harnessing the unique flavour of the experimental ‘Oaked & Smoked’ Gin by Flowstate Brewers & Distillers. The gin lends sticky vanilla, spicy citrus and woody campfire smoke notes, while a twist of yuzu, lemon juice and soda combine into a refreshing yet complex cocktail.
Another favourite of ours practically made for Summer night sipping, is the ‘Jalisco Sunset’. This cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet watermelon, earthy agave, zesty lime & a touch of spicy heat! Infusing crisp Watermelon rind and firey jalapeno with Australian made Tromba ‘Blanco’ Tequila and smokey Casamigos Mezcal, sets it apart from the rest – it’s a must try for margarita fans.
It wouldn’t be a Summer cocktail menu without a Spritz or two would it? To cool off in the afternoon or get the evening started, meet the ‘Rhubi Rhubi Rhubi’ & the ‘Sorrento Spritz’.
Instantly recognisable from it’s bright red hue, the ‘Rhubi Rhubi Rhubi’ is named after the bittersweet rhubarb aperitif ‘RHUBI Mistelle’ mixed into the Spritz alongside Patient Wolf Melbourne Dry Gin, sweet honey water, Italian prosecco & soda.
Or if you’re after a refreshing citrus & floral spritz to complement a few of our delicious Summer share plates, our ‘Sorrento Spritz’ is the perfect choice. Prosecco & soda are stirred down with Elderflower liqueur & Melbourne Gin Co. ‘Dry Gin’ for a hit of juniper, citrus and spice.
